The winter solstice marks the longest night of the year. A natural invitation to slow down, turn inward, and prepare the soil for what wants to grow next.
During this beautiful but often busy season, taking intentional time to pause is not a luxury. It is essential. This is the moment to plant the seeds of yoga. The seeds of meditation, of presence, of being fully in your body. This is how we anchor ourselves when life feels full.
In this Iyengar based practice, you will be guided through:
• Grounding standing poses to create steadiness and strength
• Supported hip and spine work to release stored tension
• Gentle, intelligent heart opening with the use of props
• Restorative poses and quiet breath work to nourish your nervous system
This will be a small, intimate class limited to 12 students, allowing for a truly hands-on experience with individual attention and full use of the studio’s beautiful props. Everything is provided. You simply arrive and settle in.
This practice is designed to help you feel anchored, steady, clear, and quietly luminous as we turn toward the light again.
